Sri Lanka and the International Monetary Fund have reached an agreement at the working group level, according to an official announcement by the International Monetary Fund.
Accordingly, the International Monetary Fund states that Sri Lanka will get 2,9 billion dollars in comprehensive credit facility from the IMF in the future.
The International Monetary Fund adds that this will be done via a 48-month program.
