Sumana Amarasinghe, a famous Sri Lankan film, and tv actress die at age of 73.
She allegedly died while undergoing treatment after being admitted to the Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital yesterday owing to an unexpected illness (04).
Amarasinghe made her film debut in the 1967 movie ‘Pipena Kumudu,’ and she played a variety of roles ranging from drama to humor.
Sumana has also worked as a producer, production manager, costume designer, and assistant director. She had a profession in the beauty industry in addition to acting.
