The Minister of Power and Energy Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera has indicated in a tweet that two new features have been added to the National Fuel Pass QR system.
Those two features are,
• QR for non-automotive needs.
(For non-motorized categories such as generators, lawnmowers, and other equipment, fuel distribution through QR is now available. Registration mode will be notified by the Ministry of Power and Energy shortly)
•The filling station code number with SMS on completion of the transaction.
(The filling station code is now available in the SMS you receive when you pump fuel)
