Users in India, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Asia have all reported problems sending and receiving messages on the popular messaging app WhatsApp.
A representative for WhatsApp parent firm Meta Platforms (META.O) stated on Tuesday, “We’re aware that some users are now experiencing problems sending messages and we’re trying to restore WhatsApp for everyone as fast as possible.”
As of around 07 50 GMT, Downdetector claimed that over 11,000 Indian users had experienced an outage, while the corresponding numbers for the United Kingdom were 68,000 and 19,000 for Singapore.
