The government has established a two-week period of work-from-home for public employees beginning June 20, 2022.
According to the circular issued by the Public Administration Ministry Secretary, the appropriate ministry Secretary, department head, or institution heads have been authorized to call the minimal amount of workers necessary to provide uninterrupted public services.
According to the circular, even when only a few people are called in for duty, it should be done on a shift basis or by some other regular system.
The circular further specifies that public employees should be prepared to work online anytime they are not called into the office.
